Thank you for posting this. I call it Protocol and having manners that seem to be missing in society in general these days. I have written an article about the importance of Rituals & Protocol that I would like to share here: www.PartyDomme.com/articles.htm

Etiquette is a MUST in My Domain, which is why My guests at My events appreciate My way of doing things. Personally, I feel that manners and basic social etiquette should be taught at home during childhood, but there are too many people being impressed with their spawn instead of guiding their children towards having worth not only to society, but to themselves!

I believe it is up to the Dominant to point out to the submissive that good manners are expected, to teach what good manners are, and to specify how much time the sub will have to make good manners second nature in her/his life. I see many subs around who use a lack of manners as an attempt to top-from-the-bottom. This is not allowed in My Domain.

The problem with chivalry, among this generation, is it seems it was never taught. And even among the ones that were taught, the precipitates response should be Thank You. Seldom heard theses days

I am not a Dom/Top, however, any one I look for who does not have good manners does not get very far with pursuing a relationship with me. At the same time, I am more than polite to just about everyone I meet, even if they are rude to me. But I'll just politely say, "No, thank you. I appreciate your interest, but I don't think we'd be a good match."
