When my slave and I became partners many moons ago we began in Vanilla. The love was there, we were in love and happy, but then we became Lacis and Bear and our love became that much deeper and fuller love. I think when you become part of the D/s lifestyle whether it be a lifestyle choice or TPE, you have a stronger, deeper connection with your partner, spouse or slave and things begin to change. Our relationship has become much deeper, stronger, and connected better than when were ever in Vanilla. I think love in an D/s relationship is more intense than the love in a vanilla relationship. I don't spank my girl because she likes it (she does) not to punish her (too often). I spank her because I love her enough to do it. The love we share is so intense that when we are together we can read each other like well read books. Love does not come from fetishes, kinks or sex..It comes from the heart and soul. Love is the emotional part that binds all of this together no matter which way you try to put it. We are still human and man and woman..Think about it..As for subs fallin in love faster than Doms..I don't know if we have any statistics. It would be interestng to know. Do Dom and sub love differently..don't know.. Maybe we should take a poll and ask those questions and see how many respond. I don’t think that love is an different in D/s as in vanilla.
